Water Sessions

Individual and couples aquatic sessions — Watsu, Water‑Dance and body–mind work in warm water.

What Happens in the Water?

Watsu / Water‑Dance

Individual or couples aquatic bodywork

Watsu and Water‑Dance sessions take place in warm water, through floating, attentive touch and guided movement. Time in the water allows deep relaxation and a listening to what the body brings and asks for.

Each session is adapted to your pace, preferences and needs, and is held with sensitivity, support and safety — creating a calming, releasing experience.

Trauma-Informed Body–Mind Therapy

An invitation to a deeper emotional process

Time in warm water allows the nervous system to slow down and reorganize, and the mind to make room for noticing sensations and emotions that have stayed recorded in the body.

Mental and physiological memories may rise to awareness, into a space where we can observe and process them together. A session includes conversation, touch and guided movement, and time to process the experience.

Who Is It For?

Anyone looking for a moment of quiet, release and presence

Couples who wish to deepen their connection through a shared experience in the water

Anyone who wants to reconnect with their body and breath, in a gentle and compassionate presence

People living with physical pain who are looking for relief

Anyone experiencing tension, overwhelm or anxiety

People who have experienced trauma and are seeking a safe, body-based way to process it

Safety, Boundaries and Pace

I work from a trauma-informed approach, and it shows mostly in the simple things: the conversation beforehand, asking what feels good and what feels less so, and knowing that any movement or touch can be paused, changed or skipped at any point.

For some people, slowing down and listening to the body opens a way to meet sensations and emotions that differs from what they know from talking. It doesn’t always happen, and it isn’t a goal — if something comes up, there is room for it.

What a Water Session Looks Like

Gentle guided movement — a therapist leads a floating body in a soft turn in the pool
Before

A short conversation — getting to know each other, what brings you, and anything important to know before we begin to float.

In the water

Floating, movement and touch at a pace that suits you, according to the method and what we agreed on at the start of the session.

After

Time to gradually return and close. If you feel like it, we can talk a little about the experience — and if not, you can simply stay with what was.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. I hold you throughout the session, and the water is shallow enough to stand in. Even if you don’t feel at ease in water, you are welcome — we’ll build a sense of safety together.

A comfortable swimsuit, a towel and a change of clothes.

In Watsu your face stays above the water for the whole session. Water‑Dance also includes movement beneath the surface, with a nose clip — and only if you have chosen this in advance.

Absolutely. You don’t need a therapeutic reason to get into the water.

Yes. There is a session for two — partners, friends or family members. Each of you gets your own time in the water.

Usually it becomes clear after a short conversation. You’re welcome to write to me, tell me what brings you, and we’ll think together about whether and when it makes sense to meet.
